Heidi

Heidi Klum is a German actress, born in Bergisch Gladbach on 1st June 1973. Erna Klum was her mother. Her father Gunther Klum worked as the executive for a cosmetics business. Heidi's father had earlier been a production manager for the perfume firm 4711. Her home was in her birthplace that is Bergisch Gladbach a city of about 100,000 residents only six miles to the east of Cologne. The former model from Germany, Heidi Klum is now an actor and television host. Karin, a girlfriend of the young student of 18 years during that time, advised Klum to take part in a German talent show called Model 92. The German women's newspaper Petra was the sponsor of the show that was presented by Thomas Gottschalk as part of his late-night talk show. Klum faced off against 25000 contestants from Germany and Europe in order to be one of three semifinalists. She was awarded the top $300,000 modeling award in April of 1992.
