Charissa is an American Sportscaster born on May 5, 1982. ESPN analyst, who was offered to co-host SportsNation during the year 2012. She co-hosted ABC series Splash alongside Joey Lawrence. Thompson was born in Seattle Washington. As the youngest of her three siblings, Thompson realized that broadcasting was what she wanted from an early stage. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School, Kenmore Washington. Thompson went to California for community college to obtain California residency. She transferred later into University of California Santa Barbara. University of California Santa Barbara and graduated with a B.A. In 2004, she graduated with the B.A. with a major in Law and Society. Thompson says she did not attend Washington State University (WSU) in 2004, as Sports Illustrated claimed. Thompson was approached via Sports Illustrated via email before she commenced her work as the sportscaster. They offered her the opportunity to be painted with body paint to address the purpose of a Swimsuit issue. Against the Current collaborated with Alex Goot to cover Good Time by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen. The collaboration allowed them to gain the popularity.
