Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born to a musical family on August 9th, 1963 in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel superstar Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singing star Dionne Warwick. Her mother and she began to sing professionally together at the New Hope Baptist Church of Newark when Whitney was only 15 years old. They sang the backing vocals on Chaka Khan's track in 1978 Im Every Woman. She went on to provide back vocals to Lou Rawls Jermaine Jackson and her mother, and also did a brief stint as a model appearing on the cover of Seventeen magazine in 1981. Her singing with New York-based band Material attracted major record labels such as Arista. The label signed her to Arista in 1983 where she continued to work for the rest of her career. Whitney Houston, her debut album released in 1985, was the top-selling album of a debut singer. It featured a number of hits such as How Will I Know You Give Good Love Saving All My Love For you and The Most Beautiful Love of All. It helped her achieve seven US chart-topping songs in succession, a feat that beat the Beatles. The album sold three million copies in its first season in the US and then went on to achieve a worldwide sales of 25 million, earning them the first six Grammies. The album Whitney which came out in 1987 and featuring the popular tracks How Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, was a follow-up to her success from. It is The Bodyguard (1996) that made her one of the best-selling albums in pop music. The Bodyguard's performance as a film and its soundtrack were not well-received however, the Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You as well as the album accompanying it were top of the charts across the world for several months. Her daughter Bobbi is born March of 1993, a year following her wedding to Bobby Brown. At this point the drug use was well-documented and she was able to use it regularly until 1996.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American reporter anchorwoman and political correspondent for CNN. Her past work includes NBC, CBS and other notable channels. Her productions include some of CNN's weekends shows like Evans & Novak Late Edition and Inside Politics. Her awards and accolades include inclusion in the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. Bash is highly regarded for her amazing skills as an anchor/reporter. In her personal life the graduate from George Washington University is a caring mother for her single son. She was married twice and is now single. Bash is a sturdy and independent woman, loves her admirers with all her heart.
