Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress who is best known for her work as a character in the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters and the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' qui you are awestruck. Emeraude Toubia is also an accomplished model and dancer. Her birthplace was in Montreal She was brought up in Texas. She has always had a passion for performance. She has been trained since her childhood in a number of diverse forms. The first time she entered beauty contests around the age of 15. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous in 2008 after she appeared in Nuestra Bella Latina's second season. It was a Univision beauty competition series. Toubia began her acting career in 2010 in the role of an office receptionist in the Telemundo episode. She also appeared in her first film the action drama Tattooed Love. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter was recognized by the Teen Choice Awards in both 2018 and 2017 for the best TV actress.
